Do I get a choice of lender?

Of course, this is what sets Think Auto apart from the dealership model. We have access to a panel over 40 lenders. The lender will be determined by the applicants credit score, the amount borrowed and the age of the vehicle. Think Auto will usually engage with 3-4 suitable lenders to compare.

What Items do I require to apply for car finance?

Documents required for the car loan application will depend on your profile, loan structure and  previous credit history. 

Think Auto could require proof of ID (driver licence or passport), your personal and or company details, employment history, your current income, assets and liabilities. We will confirm the requirements with you upon your application.

How long will the loan take to approve?

Apply online in minutes by completing the '‘Obligation-Free Quote’' above. Approval times will depend on the complexity of the application, however we aim to provide you with an answer as quickly as possible. Once approved and the paperwork is executed the funds are usually disbursed within 24 hours.

What is a balloon or residual payment?

A balloon/residual payment is a loan structure designed to reduce your monthly repayments but has nominated lump sum payable at the end of the loan term. Please speak to a Think Auto consultant for further information.

How do I make my repayments?

Repayments can be scheduled weekly, fortnightly or monthly either by direct debit from your nominated bank account or BPAY.

What if I’m unable to make my repayments?
